Above and Beyond all things, the best Creative Direction comes from listening very intently. It is not about coming into a situation and simply  slapping your vision(s) on it...

It's about applying vision "to it" based on an understanding of what is needed.

Learn and Understand the needs and goals of the Artist/Client and translate them creatively to produce the greatest results.

                  Success by definition.

Creative Direction is never one sided. There are  so many variables and possibilities to consider.

I believe in TeamWork & TeamMembers.

Often I think of Directing as "managing contributions". When there are so many ideas and options available, and so many talented people with opinions...it boils down to your palette  choices...and making decisions based on education and experience. Often that goes right back to where we started... "listening".

Find the truth in the situation, apply creative passion and knowledge with a purpose driven approach...and you'll be in shape.
